National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery
National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, in Queen Square, is the UK's largest dedicated hospital for conditions of the brain, spine, nerves and muscles. It has specialist neurosurgery, a brain tumour unit, a hyper-acute stroke unit, an acute brain injury unit, the National Prion Clinic, neuro-rehabilitation and large neurosurgical and neuromedical intensive care units. It has no A&E.

Neurocritical care: 12pm–7pm, 2 visitors at the bedside; visitors may be asked to step out for the afternoon ward round (usually 3.30pm–4.30pm)
Some units differ: Neuro Rehabilitation Unit 10am–7pm, Telemetry 10am–8pm, Neuromuscular Complex Care 9am–9pm. Protected mealtime 12pm–2pm on some wards. Ward entry is by entry-phone buzzer.
