NHSQueue is an independent information platform that makes publicly available NHS performance data easier to access, compare, and understand. We are not affiliated with the NHS, CQC, or any government body.

Our Mission

NHS waiting-time and A&E performance data are published in large monthly files that can be difficult to navigate. NHSQueue organises and visualises those public data by provider, specialty and region.

What We Cover

• Referral-to-Treatment (RTT) waiting times — incomplete pathways by specialty and reporting provider
• A&E performance — monthly 4-hour performance, attendance volumes and 12-hour waits
• Regional comparisons — performance differences across NHS England regions

Data Accuracy

Published figures come from the official NHS England files linked on our Data Sources page. An automated monthly job validates source periods, totals, percentages, median calculations and ranks before updating the site. The figures are historical monthly statistics, not real-time estimates.
