Wait Score Methodology
Our Wait Score is a simple, transparent grading system based on the percentage of patients seen within the NHS 18-week target:
| Score | Within 18 Weeks | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| A+ | 90%+ | Excellent |
| A | 85-89% | Very good |
| B | 80-84% | Good |
| C | 75-79% | Below average |
| D | 65-74% | Poor |
| F | Below 65% | Very poor |
Update Schedule
Data is updated monthly when NHS England publishes new RTT statistics (typically 6 weeks after the reporting period). A&E data is updated weekly. CQC ratings are updated when new inspections are published.
