Princess Anne Hospital
Princess Anne Hospital is University Hospital Southampton’s maternity hospital, across the road from Southampton General Hospital, delivering around 5,000 babies a year. It is a regional centre for fetal and maternal medicine, with an early pregnancy unit, maternity day assessment unit, labour ward, Broadlands birth centre and one of the largest regional neonatal units. Genetics and breast screening services are also based here. There is no A&E on site.

Up to 3 visitorsBurley, Lyndhurst and Broadlands (postnatal) wards: 9am–9pm, no more than three visitors at the bedside; siblings of any age and other children over 3 may visit. One birth partner or support person may also stay during quiet hours, 7.30am–9am and 9pm–11pm.
No flowers or latex balloons on the wards (foil balloons allowed). Do not visit with respiratory or vomiting/diarrhoea symptoms.
