Nottingham City Hospital
Nottingham City Hospital is the second main hospital of Nottingham University Hospitals, on Hucknall Road, with a maternity unit and labour suite, clinical haematology and a Maggie's Centre offering drop-in support for people with cancer. It has no Emergency Department; emergencies go to QMC.

Visiting at mealtimes is encouraged to help patients eat and drink. Children under 5 should visit only by appointment after talking to the ward. Wards with active infections may restrict visiting. Extra visiting can be agreed with the nurse in charge for end of life care, bad news or patients who need support.

Public car parks include Purple Entrance, Yellow (near Gate 5), Green (near Hayward House), Physiotherapy and Blue Entrance (near outpatients, maternity and X-ray). Card accepted everywhere; cash only at the Maternity, Yellow and Purple car park machines.

Free or reduced parking: Free for Blue Badge holders in designated bays, including barriered visitor car parks (scan the badge barcode on exit). Up to 30 minutes free for drop-offs and pick-ups with a free ticket. Motorcycles are exempt. Discounted or free parking for regular attenders (e.g. chemotherapy) is agreed case by case with ward managers; patients on qualifying benefits can reclaim charges at the Finance office (St Francis building).
