Aintree University Hospital
Aintree University Hospital in Fazakerley is the major trauma centre for adults in Cheshire and Merseyside, with its emergency department, critical care and frailty unit in an Urgent Care and Trauma Centre with a helipad. It also has a hyper acute stroke unit and regional services such as gastroenterology, ENT, maxillofacial, urology, vascular and respiratory care, and shares its site with The Walton Centre and Clatterbridge Cancer Centre – Aintree.
