North Devon District Hospital
North Devon District Hospital (NDDH) is the trust's district general hospital in Barnstaple, with a 24/7 Emergency Department that is a designated trauma unit, an intensive care unit, women and children's services and diagnostics. Births at NDDH have been temporarily suspended since 11 August 2026 because of staffing; it is one of the hospitals in the Government's New Hospital Programme.
